The MCS 3W damper is a triple-adjustable shock with external reservoirs that enable fine-tuning of the gas pressure. It allows independent adjustments for high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and rebound damping. The compression adjustments are located on the reservoir head, while the rebound adjuster is positioned at the shaft end.

The High-Speed Compression damping is managed by a large blow-off valve directly on the reservoir’s main piston, ensuring precise and accurate control. Unlike traditional needle valves, which have a limited range of adjustment before becoming ineffective, this design maintains consistent flow control throughout its range.

The MCS 3W damper offers triple adjustability, with 18 clicks for high-speed compression, 10 clicks for low-speed compression, and 18 rebound settings. Its application-specific valving accommodates a wide variety of spring rates, eliminating the need for constant revalving when adjusting your spring rate. MCS has designed the adjustment mechanisms so that each click is distinct, yet none feel overly sensitive or excessive. Standard MCS 3W dampers come with a linear piston, while a digressive piston option is also available for added tuning flexibility.
